After 5 years I have received word that 'confused' is alive and well, and even attending school in California. Click here to read all about it.

On 3/29/02 I received an email regarding the whereabouts of Confused. Here is that email message and subsequent responses.

You know, I don't know what to call you, so I figure I'm going to call you Billy. Anyways I got a question. I saw a piece of your art work at my school. "Confused" you call it. Anyway, the point I'm getting at is, did you sell it? You donate it? I'm not sure cause the art class made a bunch of sculptures like your own....Well, if you will, tell me. By the way, I'd have you say, I am very fond of your cartoons, very original. Ought to show you some of mine, if you ever find time.

Nice to hear from you. I am very interested in finding out more regarding 'Confused' and how you tracked me down. The last time I saw that piece was in 1998 at a roadside rest area off the 5 freeway near Camp Pendleton California, were I left it as an artrovert. Anyway it was never heard from again. I had hoped someone found it, but I assumed it was tossed in the trash a long time ago. Since my email has changed and I now go by billy blob, I thought it would be impossible to ever hear from anyone regarding that piece. To this day it is one of my favorites! Any info on how it found its way to your school, how you found me, and anything else you can tell me about it would be great. Thanks for getting in contact,

Wow, this just got interesting. Well, I'm not sure how, but the first time I saw your piece of work, it was at my school. My art teacher loved it and descided that her whole class would make sculptures like you own, and it would have to move in some way, just like the way your head spins. Then when the students were finished with their products, they were going to set it around town, to see if anyone would pick it up. Your art has made quite an impact. I have seen your movie Karma Ghost on both Newgrounds.com (I would hope you submitted it there, I know a lot of kids try to take movies as there own) and I also found it on AnimationExpress.com. Yesturday I was bored, so I figure Ill go on newgrounds and explore some of the new movies, I saw yours again, clicked on it, and went to your website. There, I saw you did art, as well as cartoons. So as I was looking through your art work, I saw the one that is at my school. 'confused' is now at Guajome Park Academy in Vista. It looks just the way it does on your website. Alright well, that basically sums up what I have to say.
